Nanami wraps his arm back around Haibara, glad to be together, glad that they have as much time as they can get. He kisses him back.

"That's why I proposed," Nanami says, "I want you for the rest of my life. I know how I feel and that it'll never stop. Only grow."

He reaches up to brush one of Haibara's ears. "Though I'll admit I never imagined these in our lives."
