Re: Around June 20th

For some measure of good. The exhaustion she feels only emphasizes how much better it is for them to stay here, not to gain further experience back home that only crushes their spirits. Further losses. He doesn't know who all dies or will die shortly, but he's sure it will happen. Hopefully not Okkotsu, but the kid will surely risk his life.

"Those scars are from Jogo attacking us at Shibuya," Nanami says, "You weren't there when I woke up, and I haven't seen you since. Here, Inumaki and Okkotsu didn't list you among the dead." He shrugs. He is among the dead.

Yu, however, is in the apartment, and Nanami does not want to talk about his death, not when he hasn't broached the subject yet with Yu. He really should, given the kids all know.

"Logic would call the last thing I remember a hallucination. Call it that or a portent or whatever you like. I was at an airport, deciding whether to go and discussing it with various people, also deciding." Life, and death, seemed good there. Happy. Nanami likes to think that is what they get, whether that is true or not.
